For the next two days, we are at sea. So what do we do?
- We sit in the Explorer Lounge and look for whales, which we did.
- We can enjoy the Enrichment shows
- We can participate in Viking's traditional Blue Nose Ceremony.
- We can sleep in.
- We can eat and drink a lot.
- We can roam the ship and meet and talk with other guests.
- We can listen to piano and violin mini-concerts
The following daily bulletin has a list of some of the activities.
The Ceremony of the Blue Nose - a Viking Tradition
They modified the ceremony to encourage more guests to participate. Instead of jumping into a mini-pool of ice, you bent over your head, and they dumped ice over the back of your neck. The blue foam on your nose and the drink of aqua via remained the same.
Here is my certificate.
I exercised by briskly walking alone around the halls and up and down the stairways until I earned 10,000 steps daily.
I also pulled a sofa chair alongside the Steinway piano and listened to Sergey (from Uruguay), Alina, and Morina (from Kakistan) treat us to classical music. I became such a regular that the waitress automatically placed a cup of coffee on the table next to my chair.
